Ruth has been teaching dance since 1998 and specialising in Street style for the last 4 years. After training in a wide range of disciplines including Tap, Jazz, Modern, Latin, Disco and Musical Theatre, Ruth found her true passion lay in the energetic and creative world of Street Dance.

"I find Street Dance a great way to express myself, a very satisfying and rewarding dance style; both to teach and to participate in. Street Dance is sociable, lively and fun;
'a great way to get fit and much more enjoyable than slogging away at the gym!"

Ruth has a wealth of teaching experience having taught numerous Street Dance classes for dance schools, gyms, leisure centres, competitive teams and at corporate events. Ruth's experience extends across the south of England as well as western Canada, where she spent the last year running a number of popular classes.

The choreography Ruth creates is distinctive. Her unique approach is grounded in 'street dance' but influenced by a much broader range of styles and techniques, making routines imaginative and engaging. A diverse range of music is used throughout Ruth's classes which breaks traditional boundaries and ensures that there is something for everyone.
